Seeing Stars

Craft:German Paper Stars

Credits: Craft Ideas Froebel Star
German Star Video Tutorial at With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart
Supplies: double-sided 12x12 scrapbook paper cut into 3/4" strips, paraffin wax, ornament hanger
Time: 30 minutes
Description: We'll be making these folded paper German Stars (aka Moravian Stars or Froebel Stars). It takes a bit of practice to get the folding down, but my four-years-old daughter can do with a little help from mom. These make great gift toppers, wreath adornments, or of course, ornaments for your tree.

Punch the large scallop out of the other square, cut down some of the scallops and curl for a flower shape. Tape flower to the cone.
