Time: 25 minutes- if there is extra time moms can share tips on keeping kids busy in difficult situations
Description: Moms will make the felt activity and lace up, the rest just needs to be assembled.

Simple Soap Making

Craft: Simple Soap Making

Time: 25 minutes
Description:
Each mom will take a yogurt container and write her name in marker on the side. The demonstrator will take pre-cut chunks of soap and honey and melt in microwave as per directions. Demonstrator will then pour soap into each moms yogurt container up to line drawn. Moms then can add things to their soaps like oatmeal, dried seeds, dried flowers. Possibly the moms will place their containers in an ice water tray to speed hardening. At this point the craft is finished, but the demonstrator can show how to remove soap, package soap, and different properties and ideas for soap making.
